What do movies, detergant and books have in common? They can all easily be purchased (without much hassle) online. Furniture, not-so-much. We reckonize the imporance of being able to test out comfort, feel the fabric and see actual sizes. We’ve built our showroom to make sure we can help you choose furniture that will provide comfort, quality and wearability for years to come. It’s in-person, real and liveable – things you don’t get online (ever try returning a couch online?).

Our Story & Mission
The Mill Furnishings and Design Store is always in a “State of Change”. We sell from the sales floor, so we reinvent the displays often along with the accessories and area rugs. Your frequent visits, to see what we have been up to, are welcome. So when you say you are just looking, we take that as a compliment! Take home some ideas!!
Special orders are also in our comfort zone. The resources are endless in making a “custom” look for your home or office. Your trust for this service is another compliment!
In-home consultations are always yours for the asking. Making furniture shopping a satisfying and fun experience is our job. Giving you the best possible information to make “timeless” purchases for your home, is an important goal of our Design Consultants. Growing up, it’s impossible not to remember the smell of dinner time. The smell of delicious food always filled the entire house with memories – that all started around the dinner table.

Bedroom
You probably spend about as much time in your bedroom as you do at work. Eight hours a day is a long time to be uncomfortable – we can help.
The Mill is nestled among the hills of Northern Illinois, on the way to Galena. Just off highway 20 connected to Lena Brewing Company. Adjacent to The South Door Decor and The Rafters. A nice drive for “nice” Furniture.
